Louis Vuitton – Objets Nomades 2021
by Adriano Batista

Louis Vuitton returned to the Miami Design District in a unique setting created by Patricia Urquiola in her store, featuring five stunning new Nomad Objects by designers Frank Chou, the Campana Brothers, Marcel Wanders studio, Raw Edges and the Louis Vuitton studio.

Since 2012, the Objets Nomades collection by Louis Vuitton – a collection of ingenious, creative and functional furniture and objects – has grown to host the creations of a growing list of international designers: Fernando and Humberto Campana, Atelier Oï, Raw Edges , Tokujin Yoshioka, André Fu or India Mahdavi among others. Each object reinterprets the essential spirit of the Art of Travel, present in the Maison’s DNA since its founding 160 years ago, in a unique combination of the creativity of its designer and the incomparable savoir-faire of Louis Vuitton.

In Miami, 5 new Nomadic Objects were presented: the Merengue pouf and the Avocado sculpture by the Campana brothers in three colors (coral, neon yellow or light pistachio and cream); the Pétalo chair from the Marcel Wanders studio, with its organic tree-shaped structure and its cushions in three special colors (light pistachio or neon yellow, coral and cream); the Cosmic table by Raw Edges, with its innovative and elegant carbon fiber base and frosted-looking glass top; and finally, the Totem Lumineux by the Louis Vuitton studio, an elegant tower of colorful Murano glass spheres.
