Gemma es la chica detrás de AWWZ, un proyecto electrónico que está llamando la atención de todo el mundo, tanto en España como en América latina. Awwz ha conseguido crear una seña de identidad con solo unos pocos temas bajo su autodenominado estilo “shower music”, y que tiene su traslación visual en el fantástico video interactivo que ilustra uno de sus temas, “Awake”.
El estilo de Awwz es como su música: mantiene la esencia y sugiere comodidad. Por eso Gemma elije los jeans 710 Super Skinny, que le acompañan durante todo el día, mientras pasea por las calles de Barcelona por el día o mientras pincha en los clubs más alternativos de la ciudad durante la noche. Gemma sorprende mostrando todas las vertientes con su último trabajo ‘Glid EP’, un EP de cinco temas publicado en la nueva plataforma artística Galaxxxy Sándwich, nacida del sello Egyptian Maraccas. En “Glid” (que en sueco significa “diapositiva”) Awwz perfila un sonido muy atractivo, mezcla de future beats, pop y r&b, lleno de melodías luminosas, voces sensuales y ritmos imaginativos cocinados a fuego lento.
