1017-ALYX-9SM Drops Nike Air Force 1
by Anna Barr
Back in January, we got our first glimpse of Matthew M. Williams’ Nike Air Force 1 High-tops at his ALYX FW20 show.
Williams is a frequent Nike collaborator and dubbed for bringing a “street goth aesthetic”. For this release, stuck with the classic silhouette of the Air Force 1 to create an understated and refined take on the legendary design. The look blends minimalist touches with crisp hues of black for a premium update of the icon, featuring an anodized aluminum buckle for closure on the front giving it the iconic ALYX treatment and an embroidered Nike swoosh on the back.
