Sundae School explores the power of dreams through their newest collection, 호접지몽 (The Butterfly Dream). Inspired by Zhuang Zi’s poem, “The Butterfly Dream,” Sundae School dreams of an alternate reality in Seoul where in-person interactions are normalized, and Cannabis is legalized. Especially during a pandemic when the world is cocooned inside, dreams become more than an escape from reality, but a vital medium to free oneself.
