Loewe presentó en Madrid su colección Otoño/Invierno 2011-2012. La firma española, que muestra sus colecciones en la semana de la moda de París, ha querido presentar su nueva temporada también en la capital española. La colección de hombre de Loewe muestra la consonancia que existe entre las dos líneas, masculina y femenina, centrando su saber hacer en la piel y explorando en la prenda de abrigo.
Para el próximo invierno, el hombre Loewe se abriga con prendas construidas en torno a materiales nobles como la napa, en versión encerada y extra virgen, y otros más particulares como el borrego. El conjunto de estos elementos se ha trabajado para conseguir prendas de abrigo elegantes, sofisticadas y contemporáneas. Parkas en piel súper ligera con forro desmontable, chaquetones marineros que esconden una suavidad especial en el interior y blazers de construcciones ligeras e impecables son ejemplos de las prendas de abrigo que representan esta colección. En cuanto tejidos, Loewe elige el cachemir extrafino y el algodón egipcio para elaborar jerseys y suéteres en colores degradados. Los accesorios, confeccionados en pieles exóticas como el cocodrilo, completan esta colección sin dejar de lado los clásicos de Loewe, como el tradicional Amazona weekender en ante oro.
