SS17 sees the debut collaboration between British shoe-makers Dr. Martens and Parisian fashion collective Vetements. Both brands are proud to be non-conformist, innovative, and they seek to redefine established thinking. Something Dr. Martens did back in the 60s with the introduction the then revolutionary Airwair sole, and Vetements are now doing by democratizing the fashion cycle, making fashion more accessible and immediate.
Drawing on Dr. Martens decades of expert craftsmanship and fusing the traditional with Vetements cutting-edge, urban aesthetic, the resulting pair of boots nods to the industrial heritage of Dr. Martens while being truly contemporary.
