The fashion house Ami Paris has announced a new partnership, naming actor and singer Zhou Yiran as its Global Ambassador. This move feels like a natural progression, the formalizing of a connection years in the making.
The brand cites a long friendship with the artist, suggesting this alliance was built on a foundation of genuine affinity rather than fleeting trend. Zhou Yiran appears to be a clear match for the label’s ethos. His personal approach (a certain relaxed and carefree elegance) aligns directly with the creative vision of founder Alexandre Mattiussi.
In a statement, Zhou Yiran expressed his enthusiasm, calling Ami a brand he “truly adores.” He highlighted its embodiment of “love, friendship and inclusivity,” describing the brand itself as feeling like “a friend in life.” This points to a partnership based on shared values, with the artist looking forward to creating “joyful and free-spirited” fashion in the future.
