Zalando’s Cultural Ties: Berlin

Zalando‘s new study, “Cultural Ties,” takes a look at streetwear culture in some of Europe’s biggest cities. The study features photos by Timothy Schaumburg and Shahram Saadat, and interviews with people who are shaping the streetwear scene.
These people talk about where streetwear came from, what inspires them, and what they hope for the future of streetwear in their city.
Zalando wants to connect these different communities and help people learn about each other’s styles and cultures. The study highlights important places in each city, like bars, shops, and clubs, where streetwear culture is born and grows.
To celebrate these places, Zalando teamed up with adidas Originals to create a limited-edition clothing line. Each piece is inspired by a specific spot in one of the cities. The goal is to help people from different cities connect through fashion and show pride in their local streetwear scene.
