Gucci‘s new Spring/Summer 2025 campaign, “Where Light Finds Us,” is a story about light and shadow, movement and stillness. Creative director Sabato De Sarno and director Xavier Dolan tell the tale of two people meeting, their connection unfolding like a dream.
Actress Yara Shahidi and actor George MacKay play the lead roles. Dolan films them in everyday places, but they feel magical, like rays of sun turning ordinary rooms into something special. The clothes fit perfectly. They’re simple but interesting, with light fabrics and unexpected colors. It’s about freedom and finding beauty in the everyday, which is exactly what De Sarno wanted.
Dolan doesn’t just take pictures, he makes you feel something. The light isn’t just there, it tells a story. It shows closeness, vulnerability, and the importance of being yourself, even when you feel most exposed.
