Overwhelm by all the new music coming out? Here is a selection of our favorite tracks released this week, from emerging to most established artists, this is your weekly soundtrack!

Steve Lacy – Sunshine ft. Fousheé

American musician Steve Lacy released last week his second and masterpiece record “Gemini Rights”. After teasing this project with “Bad Habits” and “Mercury”, it’s the track “Sunshine” featuring R’n’B singer Fouchée he chose to promote this new era. It’s a dreamy sexy chill song and the video is as poetic as their collaboration.

SOHN – Segre

SOHN is back and shared some exciting news about his first album in five years, “Trust”. With this announcement, he released a new single “Segre” which lands with a video directed by and starring Carla Cervantes Caro and Sandra Egido Ibañez (LOOKATHINGSDIFFERENT). This comeback single is inspired by Catalonia, Spain, where SOHN currently resides. He explains that “during the last years of immense change and upheaval, following that river up to our mountain home has become my way of re-centring myself.”

ABSOLUTE.- Stuck in love

DJ/producer/live artist ABSOLUTE. reveals “-Stuck in Love”, a candid pop-bop with Detroit electro vibes, the lyrics draw on the realities of modern romance. In his own words, the single “took on a whole new meaning when the lyrics ended up becoming my reality during my trip in LA, with art imitating life.” Carving his space in the fashion world too, ABSOLUTE. has recently been snapped up by designers for musical direction and soundtracking including Jack Irving LFW SS22, Fred Perry and Raf Simons.

Joesef – East end coast

Scottish soul artist Joesef released his new single “East End Coast”and it’s about the unconditional love he feels from his hometown of Glasgow. In a press statement, he explained: “I wrote it last year. It was summer and I fell in love with someone when I moved out of my hometown. It’s kind of about finding home in someone when you feel displaced from everything you’ve ever known.”

Shygirl – Coochie (a bedtime story)

One thing you need to know is that Shygirl is that you never get enough of Shygirl. Promoting her upcoming first album “Nymph” out in September via Because Music, she just revealed a third single co-produced with Mura Masa “Coochie (a bedtime story)” which explores a celestial hyperpop lullaby.

Lewis OfMan & Carly Rae Jepsen – Move Me

French producer Lewis OfMan revealed his first album “Sonic Poems” some months ago and he is still serving us some exclusive dancy tracks. Latest release: a surprising collaboration with Canadian pop singles Carly Rae Jepson for his new song “Move Me” and it’s a perfect soundtrack to start your summer holidays.

MorMor – Far apart

Canadian musician MorMor is back since his latest release back in 2020. He described the new single “Far Apart” which is “about the toxicity that occurs in a relationship when both people haven’t yet faced their demons.” The track comes with a music video directed by Camille Summers-Valli.

Jordan Nash – Fear and loathing

West London performer and producer Jordan Nash will release his brand new visual EP “Seventy One” next week via Island Records. Each track on this project will have its own visualizer. Following the release of his debut EP “Sixty Four” in 2021, Jordan stated in a press release that “For me, this was the darker-toned yet pop-inspired flip side to my previous EP. It playfully leans into everything I love and hate about pop music, talking about some of my worst fears whilst bragging about this new world I’ve been introduced to. I think it’s a soundtrack made for a summer evening with the sky turning pink behind you”. And yes, the track “Fear and Loathing” is perfect to start your summer appetizer.
