Victor von Schwarz is a fashion designer, who lives between Barcelona and Taipei and for four years has had his own fashion brand. After finishing his studies, he did a masters in tailoring which led him to work with Manuel Bolaño, Josep Font and Bibian Blue, as well as collaborating with brands like H&M and Fucking Young!.
He’s a creative craftsman, who doesn’t believe that “being talented” is something that magically happens, but is achieved through hard work and by giving attention to detail. Victor is another of the ones chosen to take part in our videos with G-STAR RAW #TightOrWide
Have you thought about your plans for summer?
I suppose I’ll spend it working and going out, like I do every summer, in order to have time to present the new collection in September.
How do you wear yours? #TightOrWide Both TIGHT and WIDE – it depends on the occasion and what I wear on top.
I would have liked to live the life of…
A billionaire, of course.
If I were an animal I would be…
A cat.
I take pictures because…
I like to have souvenirs of the moments I’ve lived, without any artistic pretensions.
I would never wear…
I would never shave my eyebrows, but I don’t know, I think I’d wear anything in the right moment.
I get grumpy…
For too many reasons, I’m working on that.
I feel at home when…
I like something that’s on TV.
The city of my dreams is…
At the moment it’s Taipei, although I haven’t yet been to all the places I’d like to go.
My favourite book…
“The Character of Rain” by Amelie Nothomb
My worst nightmare is…
To end up doing a job I hated.
My dream is…
To create a sustainable and prosperous company.
In ten years I see myself…
In my own shop in Taipei, with more grey hairs and more dogs.
