Deep in the hills of Abruzzo, at a place called Villaggio Cirulli, a simple but powerful idea took shape: no one is just a number.
This is the heart of a short film titled UNO (and all the other numbers), directed by LEONE. The project began when the filmmaker spent time with the young people living in the village. Instead of seeing a group, he met individuals. Behind each face was a voice, a history, a dream. Most importantly, there was a name. It’s a reminder that every person carries a world inside them, filled with hope, fear, memory, and imagination.
This short film is dedicated to all the “number ones”: those who lead with heart, believe in magic, and never stop dreaming. It’s a tribute to the value of every single story, especially those often overlooked.
