UNDERCOVER‘s Jun Takahashi and Modern Matter founder Olu Odukoya have turned printing errors into something new. Their collaboration digs through a decade of misprints from Modern Matter’s archives (2010–2020), reworking them into collages that blur art, design, and fashion.

Takahashi didn’t just fix the old mistakes, he transformed them. What was once considered flawed now feels intentional, repurposed with a sharp eye for composition. The result is a series that treats accident as opportunity.

Alongside the collection comes Modern Matter Q&A Chronicles, a zine documenting the process behind the project. It’s paired with an exclusive T-shirt, a wearable piece of the collaboration, screen-printed with questions and answers that tie into the theme.

The set will only be available through UNDERCOVER’s online store and Japanese locations. No reprints, no wider release, just a limited reflection on how things can go wrong and still turn out right.
