Transformed star pt. III by Branko Popovic
by Adriano Batista

Branko Popovic is one of the founders of FASHIONCLASH but also a designer based in Maastricht in the south of The Netherlands. Originally Branko comes from Ex-Yugoslavia (Croatia) and this collection is about transformation of the shape of the star, as a metaphor for the split-up of Yugoslavia and civil war that followed. This split-up is the reason he’s living in The Netherlands and this collection is also a metaphor for Branko’s imigration from one country to another.
