TOY STORY: Levi’s® Celebrates 30 Years of Friendship
by Adriano Batista
Levi’s® and Pixar have teamed up to mark a major anniversary: three decades of Toy Story. The new collection translates the magic of Andy’s toys into clothing, focusing on the Western spirit that defines Sheriff Woody.
This is not just a series of logos on denim. The pieces are built with a focus on the small details that fans will recognize. For the main jacket, the custom buttons act as tiny souvenirs from the film, featuring Woody’s belt buckle, the Space Ranger logo, and the Pizza Planet truck emblem. The shirt includes a chest embroidery with Woody’s friendly greeting, “Hey Howdy Hey.”
The jeans continue this theme of hidden treasures. They feature custom pockets printed with Andy’s childhood handwriting and graphics of the Saddleman brand from the movies. These elements feel like personal discoveries, echoing the film’s core idea of the bond between a kid and their toys. The styles themselves, like a Western flare or a carpenter jean with a unique bread bag print, are grounded in authentic workwear details.
A range of graphic tees and hoodies showcase key characters and moments, from Woody on Bullseye to the iconic phrase “You’ve Got a Friend in Me.” The accessories complete the set, including a denim hat, a tote bag, and even a belt that recreates Woody’s own with a laser-engraved buckle.
Throughout the collection, assorted patches of Woody, Buzz, and Jessie add a collectible, personal touch. It feels less like a standard clothing line and more like a wearable archive of the film’s most beloved icons.
