For Spring/Summer 2025, Racer Worldwide drops a piece of jewelry that turns nostalgia into fashion. The RacerPods Necklace takes the classic wired earbuds, strips away their function, and turns them into a stainless steel accessory. It’s the same shape, the same size, but now it’s purely for style.
This is a statement. The original earbuds were everywhere, tangled in pockets, dangling from phones, a symbol of early digital culture. Now, they’re reborn as a necklace or even worn in the ears like the real thing, except they don’t play music. They play into something else: the way fashion repurposes the ordinary into something desirable.
