Stone Island revisits its iconic Ice Jacket for Fall/Winter 2025-26. First introduced in 1989, the design is updated with a new technical fabric. This season’s version is made from a two-layer material that reacts to temperature.

The jacket’s outer layer is a stretchy, high-tenacity nylon. It is treated with a thermo-sensitive coating that uses liquid crystals to change color based on the heat it encounters. This fabric is laminated to a padded inner membrane that provides wind and water resistance.

Functional details define the piece. It includes a padded, drawstring hood and raglan sleeves. The jacket features multiple pockets, including a bellow pocket on the sleeve that holds the brand’s research badge. There is also an inner pocket embroidered with the Compass logo.

A key feature is the inclusion of removable accessories. The jacket comes with a detachable, garment-dyed fleece balaclava and fingerless gloves that can be zipped into the cuffs. The closure uses a two-way zipper under a hook-and-loop placket.

The garment is worn in the campaign by Stone Island Client Advisor Manager Nasser Ssekandi.
