SISSI GOETZE Fall/Winter 2014 Lookbook
by Adriano Batista

Designer SISSI GOETZE graduated with an MA in menswear from Central Saint Martins College in London. After showing a highly publicised graduate collection in the prestigious Saint Martins catwalk show at London Fashion Week in 2010, the young designer relocated to Berlin where she now designs her collections.
SISSI GOETZE`S unconventional approach to contemporary menswear makes it the label promising one to watch. The label’s simple, yet innovative approach to menswear stands-out with refined cuts, subtle details and precise tailoring. SISSI GOETZE´S trademark, a ‘hybrid sleeve’ forms the core of her conceptual approach to design: half a raglan/half a classic shoulder sleeve, which gives shape to a smooth, yet distinctive shoulder. This significant sleeve is applied to all tops, from a simple t-shirt, a bomber jacket to a classic coat. All garments are designed and produced in Berlin.
For Fall/Winter 2014, SISSI GOETZE was intrigued by the 1950’s-60’s man and the concept of a utopian future.
