Sex-Positive Lifestyle Brand HOWL Launches CBD Anal Lube
by Adriano Batista

HOWL, the sex-positive lifestyle brand for all genders and sexualities founded by film director, artist and auteur Samuel Douek, announces the launch of a line of CBD-infused anal lubricants.
Formulated with high-grade ISO-accredited GMP-certified CBD (cannabidiol) sourced from Germany, HOWL’s two CBD anal lubes – one water-based, one silicone-based – are easy-to-apply, easy-to-clean, non-flavored and non-scented and are designed to make sure the neighbors can hear you howl. The lubricants were developed in partnership with KINGS CROSS CANNABIS (KXC), leaders in the cannabis industry, and can be used across the body but have been specifically formulated to enhance anal pleasure, as the relaxing and anti-inflammatory properties of CBD help take assplay to another dimension.

HOWL, which began in August 2019 as a queer-inclusive techno and performing arts festival in London, is a queer-run, sex-positive community with an ethos built on the foundations of bringing together LGBTQ+ collectives from different scenes across the UK under one roof. 50p of every bottle sold of HOWL’s CBD anal lubricants is being donated to UK Black Pride, Europe’s largest celebration for African, Asian, Middle Eastern, Latin American and Caribbean-heritage LGBTQ people.

“HOWL is liberation through exploration,” said HOWL founder Samuel Douek. “We’re here to educate, destigmatize, and normalize an outdated societal taboo of pleasure and connection. As a brand, our goal is to immeasurably improve people’s sex lives and break down sexual taboos, and our CBD lubes help you look after your physical, emotional and spiritual self by investing in your sexual wellness”.
