The Richardson x Sorayama collection is being released ahead of the artist’s upcoming exhibition at the Museum of Sex in Miami. Hajime Sorayama is well-known for his erotic, super-realistic illustrations and his show will be the inaugural exhibition at the new Museum of Sex. The Richardson x Sorayama capsule incorporates the artist’s signature Sexy Robots with custom renderings of the Richardson logo and glyph.
The collection includes two T-Shirts both in Black, a Hoodie in Dove Grey and Black, and Sweatpants in Grey. Accompanying the release is the Richardson x Sorayama Incense Burner, the artist’s take on a Richardson staple item in polished aluminum. The custom design is inspired by the work of Gustave Courbet. The incense burner is a limited edition of 5, with a retail price of $10,000 USD, sold exclusively through Nanzuka Underground in Tokyo while the apparel is exclusively available on Richardsonshop.com and Richardson flagship stores on February 10th in the US and February 11th in Japan.
