Vans has teamed up once again with multidisciplinary designer Nicole McLaughlin to create the Slip-On RS, a collection that blends adventure, creativity, and functionality. Known for her playful approach to design and her ability to transform recycled materials into innovative, multi-functional pieces, McLaughlin brings her unique vision to this collaboration.

The centerpiece of the collaboration is the Slip-On RS, a shoe designed with adventure in mind. It features pockets that can hold small camping essentials, adding a layer of practicality to its classic silhouette. The shoe comes in two colorways, Tan and Grey, and is joined by other items like the “Rucksack” and “Rucksock” socks in Oatmeal. But the collection doesn’t stop at footwear. McLaughlin has also designed a reversible beanie and a button-down shirt, completing a look that pays homage to skate culture while incorporating her signature creativity.

The campaign for the collection reflects McLaughlin’s playful and hands-on approach. It features miniature replicas of real objects, with the Slip-On RS unpacked to reveal small camping essentials tucked into its pockets. McLaughlin herself photographed and styled the campaign, adding a personal touch to the project.
