Ray-Ban launches the new MEGA: MEGA Wayfarer in vivid colors and MEGA Clubmaster
by Adriano Batista
Ray-Ban has updated some of its most iconic designs with the Mega trend. The brand dares to reinterpret classic models to present two cultural innovators: the Mega Clubmaster and the Mega Wayfarer.
The classic Clubmaster, a symbol of authenticity and intellect, made their mark in the 80s with their thick brow bar and retro sensibility. With the self-assuredness of those who know it all, they quickly became the favorite accessory of the most influential thinkers and visionaries.
The original Wayfarers, on the other hand, embody youthful rebellion and have ventured into uncharted territory since 1952. After traversing the rock revolution of the 60s, the art world of the 80s, and the peak of hip-hop culture of the 90s, the Wayfarers remain just as subversive today.
In the Mega version, they evolve with very bold new dimensions to meet the needs of today, changing horizons with a daring perspective that does not renounce its timeless charm. Driven by an unquenchable thirst for timeless design and an unrelenting spirit of innovation, historic details take on challenging proportions, as seen in the ultra-wide temples and thick frames that bring a breath of pop optimism.
