The latest edition of Paris Fashion Week, as usual, is giving a lot to talk about, and not only because of the celebrities that attend the shows and that unfortunately sometimes make the works presented to the background, but also because of the advances that are taking place in different firms, as in Rabanne, since its current creative director Julien Dossena has again included menswear in his collection for the house.

It seems that the Frenchman has listened to the prayers of the thousands of male followers of the company and has wanted to give them the pleasure of showing four looks, which breathed both identities, that of Julien himself as a designer and that of the company founded by the great Paco. About them, it can be said that they are composed of garments that catch the eye as soon as one sees them because of the fabrics in which they are made and because they breathe real design. In defence of this are the double-layered coats, in leather, fur, or marbled fabrics, which are accompanied by a belt at the waist; and the well-structured tailoring, which shares the double detail also present in the coats.

What little we’ve seen of Julien Dossena designing menswear for Rabanne has been sublime, and we can only say thank you. Now all that’s left is for both parties to develop this field further, and not just a mere catwalk appearance.
