QASIMI RISING, a program that helps up-and-coming fashion designers, has announced a cool collab with Lagos Fashion Week. This team-up aims to find, train, and launch the next wave of hot African fashion designers on the world stage.

Through this partnership, QASIMI RISING will scout for talented designers from the region to join their program for aspiring designers in 2026. Lucky designers will get to show off their collections at Lagos Fashion Week this October, which is a huge deal for getting noticed and getting help from experts.

Hoor Al Qasimi, who started QASIMI RISING, said she’s excited about the partnership: “We are committed to fostering a thriving fashion community across many cities on the African continent and around the world, our partnership with Lagos Fashion Week is a testament to this commitment. Together, we aspire to nurture local talents, empower their creativity, and offer a gateway to global recognition.”

This collaboration is a big step forward for African fashion. By giving new designers a chance to show their work, QASIMI RISING and Lagos Fashion Week are investing in the future of fashion on the continent.
