Unsigned MGMT presents new face Sam Worth in exclusive interview and images for Fucking Young! Sam, an aspiring writer and pianist, was discovered this summer when a friend entered him in UK male model competition ‘The Complete Package‘. Coming runner-up, Sam walked away from the show – judged by Abbey Clancy, Cesar Perin, and Regine Weimar (HOM) – with a coveted contract with Unsigned MGMT. Already causing a stir having been shot by Mariano Vivanco in the weeks since the final episode of the show, this proper British gentleman is tipped for big things.

See a link to final episode of ‘The Complete Package’ here.

Name: Sam Worth

Age: 22

Starsign: Cancer

Hometown: Burton-on-Trent

Best thing about your hometown: It’s famous for making beer

Best thing to do in your hometown: Not a lot…drink beer?

How did you get into modeling / where were you scouted: I was a finalist on ITV This Morning’s model competition, my best mate entered me.

Were you interested in fashion before you got into modeling: I’ve always taken an interest in my own fashion and what other people are wearing.

Favourite designers: I like to shop in Zara, All Saints or Topman.

Most loved possession in your wardrobe: well it was my denim jacket…until I lost it! L

What’s your take on the modeling industry: I think it’s really competitive. As quickly as someone can big you up they can drop you like a sack of spuds. So you need to have thick skin and accept that some rejection is part of the job.

What are you most looking forward to doing being a model: travelling, I’ve always wanted to experience different cultures and spend time in places like New York, Milan and Paris.

Who do you most want to model for: I want to do fashion shows for the biggest labels, so names like Armani, Gucci, Prada and Versace would be awesome. I’d also love to be in GQ.

Who are your favourite models? I respect David Gandy for the way he changed the industry, and he comes across as a really genuine guy.

What else do you do: Football and Music are my passions; I spend a lot of time on the football pitch or at my piano.

Fashion week survival tip: well I’m pretty new so I’ve never done fashion week. Maybe I won’t survive!!!

Most played tune on your iPod: Two Door Cinema Club – Undercover Martyn

Worst job you’ve ever had: I used to work in the store rooms at Next – that was SO boring.

What do you like to do when you’re in London: go out for drinks with friends – any excuse is a valid one.

What’s the most spontaneous thing you’ve ever done: getting tattooed. It says modest in speech, virtuous in action.
