Fall/Winter 2023 begins with the original way of recording the information of human beings, the collection is a reflection on the digital age.
Whilst exploring human recording, PRONOUNCE found inspiration through the primitive and ancient Chinese transmission of information; the knotting of notes, the writing of strokes and radicals. In the current digital age, where information is at our fingertips,
PRONOUNCE chose to look retrospectively at the ancient method of sharing information. The collection was inspired entirely by these ancient methods, from Chinese knotting notes to oracle bone and tortoise shell inscriptions.
