Power Love: Anne Morgenstern’s Solo Exhibition
by Adriano Batista
K-Gold Temporary Gallery in Greece presents the solo exhibition “Power Love” by German photographer Anne Morgenstern. This exhibition marks Morgenstern’s debut in Greece, offering a fascinating exploration of corporeality, desire, identity, and politics.
Anne Morgenstern
Through her lens, Morgenstern celebrates individuality and the vast spectrum of human emotions, capturing the tactile qualities of skin with raw intensity. The dynamic interplay between portraits and still-life images of objects, animals, and architectural elements reveals the intricate connections between humans and their environment.
In addition to the exhibition, K-Gold Temporary Gallery has partnered with Lefko Harti to organize a series of workshops led by Mari Moustaizi. These workshops aim to deepen the engagement with Morgenstern’s work and provide participants with hands-on creative experiences.
Accompanying the exhibition is a new monograph featuring Morgenstern’s work. This publication, designed by Marlon Tate, offers a comprehensive look at her artistic journey and provides a deeper understanding of her creative process.
Opening hours: Saturday and Sunday, 15:00-20:00
