Playhound

This Spring / Summer 2015, Playhound is inspired by the behavior of Art School’s Pranksters. With tricks up their sleeves, the so-called pranksters would rather throw paint onto their still life drawings while others would simply draw. Or they would rather create and draw their own pockets and wordings onto a Tee. Playhound’s main graphic print for this collection consists of a rough sketch of the geometric bodies in a biro pen with paint brushstrokes slash all over it.

Special techniques in this collection is the use of high density screen prints in various forms; brushtrokes, pockets and tapes. Sticking velcro onto collars and hemlines to mimic the taping on paper or screen print the tapes on top of the school logo are a typical thing these pranksters would do.

Summer easy everyday-wear fabrics are ranges of cotton, include cotton that mix with other fabrics like cotton spandex, cotton polyester, cotton rayon and linen. And raise the sports mood by using neoprene as well.

Prominent silhouettes that can be seen in both men and women collection is oversize top with slim bottom pair with bucket hat and cap to give them some edge. Matching crop tops and flared skirt to make the women more playful. While the men would wear wrinkled shirt and crop slim pants which certainly refers to student who doesn’t obey the rules.

Main colors in this collection are basics of black, white and grey. With powder pink, cobalt blue, tangerine orange and army green as accents.
