The Swiss eyewear house Paloceras, operating between Helsinki and Lisbon, has partnered with Djibril Cissé on a new limited release. “Marble Spectacle” reworks their SX model into two variations (V+ in green marble and R+ in deep red marble), with only 40 of each produced. Each pair comes in a matching marbled acetate case.

This collaboration reflects Paloceras’ approach to eyewear design, where technical precision meets handcrafted detail. Their frames often play with form and proportion, treating glasses as objects that exist between accessory and sculpture. The marbled patterns in this release add another layer to that concept, with no two pieces being exactly identical.

Cissé, known for his cool aesthetic during and after his football career, brings his perspective to the project. The result merges Paloceras’ design language with Cissé’s visual sensibility.

As with many Paloceras releases, production numbers remain intentionally small. The brand focuses on creating pieces that prioritize material quality and distinctive design over mass production. These glasses will not be reissued, continuing their practice of limited availability.
