Painkiller is a Thai alternative menswear label from Bangkok established in 2006 by designer Siriorn Teankaprasith and her two brothers, Poomsak Teankaprasith, an architect and Terawat Teankaprasith, an illustrator.

The new collection “Best friend” is inspired by one short story of M.R. Kukrit Pramoj called “Mom”. The 1950’s novel about true friendship between Mom (Thai dog) and the misfortune master.

The collection retell Thai men’s image during the first years of Internationalization,at that time, Thai men were forced to wear European clothes for work and keep colorful tropical pieces for home. S/S 2011, PAINKILLER mix and match them all in one outfit! Thai inspired cut blazers over traditional oxford shirts paired with vibrant silk trousers. Piping details of Thai costumes are borrowed to decorate the outers and shirts. Thai dog prints “Mom” and a Thai house prints “Chann” will be a loyal company for your fiery summer.
