Ethan James and Abiah Hostvedt photographed by Jeff Henrikson and styled by Graham Tabor for the Spring/Summer 2014 lookbook of Orley.

For Spring/Summer 2014, Orley designers Matthew Orley, Alex Orley, and Samantha Florence expand their men’s knitwear offering to a full ready-to-wear collection. The Orley aesthetic is rooted in the pairing of classic silhouettes, and youthful, irreverent design. Orley is ultimately defined by its intelligent combination of elegance and irreverence.

With the expansion into ready-to-wear, the Orley brand explores beyond knitwear. For Spring/Summer 2014, emphasis is placed on the use of luxury materials and texture; an Italian linen tailored trouser in brick red exemplifies this approach to design. Cotton poplin short and long sleeve button down shirts are introduced in light blues, ochre, and mint. A textured linen bomber and houndstooth jacquard jacket with leather elbow patches and placket enhance the brand’s strong ready-to-wear offering.
