Nick Grimshaw x TOPMAN
by Adriano Batista

Radio and TV broadcaster Nick Grimshaw will launch his debut collection for TOPMAN on October 14th 2015. Having been very much involved with TOPMAN for the past year, the presenter has now designed a collection which encapsulates his dream wardrobe.
“I’ve always loved clothes and i love these ones so much that i asked TOPMAN to make them for me! They said yes – se here they are, hope you love them too!” – said Nick Grimshaw
Having been totally hands on from the beginning, the collection features pieces that reflect Nick’s personal style and taste – even some of Nick’s sketches and doodles from his personal journal feature on the designs and his dog PIG has been illustrated to become the official collection mascot and logo. Nick is also the face of the campaign, which was shot out and about in his local neighbourhood of Primrose Hill.
The collection includes a mix of iconic jackets, coats and shirts as well as T’s and fine gauge knits. Shirts have a very soft handle – some featuring oversized leopard print in monochrome. Nick loves Leopard prints so it also appears on the collar of a monogrammed collegiate jacket and more prominently on a knee lenght coat. Luxurious suede fringed jackets in black and sand are a nod to the love Nick has for rock and roll. Homage to his god PIG can be found on a simple soft white T-shirt which features Nick’s “Puppy” tattoo.
Prices range from £15 for a neck scarf, £40 for a shirt and up to £200 for the fringed sued jackets and leopard print coat.
