Newspeak Studio throws off the shackles of rigidity with their SS25 collection, embracing a relaxed and playful take on formal wear. This season is all about happy accidents – letting go of total control and celebrating the unexpected.
Imagine comfy clothes with a twist: tailored pieces that are loose and flowy, with unexpected details like puffy pants and short jackets. The idea? Clothes that move with you, not the other way around.
The fabrics are bolder this time too featuring thicker materials that hang nicely. And forget about boring prints. Newspeak went all out on unique dyeing techniques that you can’t get from a machine – think splatters, hand-dipped colors, and groovy tie-dye.
Natural fibers like cotton and linen are big this season, but there are some surprises too. Horsehair and wool add a bit of texture, while shiny nylons and waxy cotton give a futuristic vibe. They even took classic pinstripes and turned them into cool cropped jackets and shorts – perfect for anyone who wants to rewrite the rules of what looks powerful.
