The MONCLER x FRGMT collaboration brings together Hiroshi Fujiwara’s creative vision and Moncler’s technical expertise. Fujiwara, known for his work as a designer, DJ, and producer, has a deep interest in subcultures and everyday fashion. His latest menswear collection for Moncler rethinks functionality and technical details, focusing on pieces that look simple but have hidden sophistication. The collection combines precise construction, numerical graphics, embroidered details, and playful Y2K-inspired designs, giving casual citywear a fresh direction.

Graphics are a central part of Fujiwara’s work. This collection features embossed logos, numerical codes, and playful designs by Korean illustration studio Nayeon & Rang, including cartoon kittens and bunnies. Embroidered quotes from thinkers like Nietzsche and Aristotle add depth, blending philosophy with fashion. These details reflect Fujiwara’s wide-ranging cultural influences and his ability to mix the playful with the profound.

The collection uses black nylon in both matte and shiny finishes, with contrasting embroidery adding visual interest. It includes sporty nylon parkas and varsity jackets inspired by Americana, as well as tailored car coats and workwear jackets with a British feel. Classic Moncler styles, like the Maya2 and Everest2 jackets, are updated for spring in lighter versions, making them more practical for warmer weather. A new grid-quilted design also appears in lighter outerwear, showing the brand’s focus on innovation.
