“Suenan los tambores en las calles más concurridas y de gente de bien de las principales ciudades españolas, las mujeres de la alta sociedad se pasean con cordialidad esquiva y mucha prisa para llegar sus elegantes y opulentos eventos”. Así se presenta la colección de Miguel Palacio, que nos obnubila con sus diseños lady like.
Empieza con unos excesivos abrigos adustos que sotierran con mucha clase el cuerpo de la mujer. Pasan por ser unos abrigos en riguroso azabache que dibujan con sutilezas y cortes rectos el cuerpo a unos que en tonalidades nude y empolvaods, se desprenden al viento mostrando los magníficos vestidos que se escondían con recelo en los primeros. El minimalismo sofisticado se nos presenta en un alarde de buen gusto, con pantalones de raso, piezas de paillettes y vestidos drapeados en azul Klein, que siguen siendo un must en todas las colecciones.
No podían faltar lo que distinguía a las damas de la jet set y que todas guardan en su armario, hablamos de los abrigos de pelletería, que desde hace unas temporadas se recupera con nuevos cortes que la hacen una pieza mucho más joven y contemporánea. La camisas volátiles y finas, acaba en mangas abullonadas que forman parte del marco mayestático al que Miguel Palacio nos tiene acostumbrados. A diferencia de lo que estábamos viendo en temporadas pasadas, lo comedido no puede hacer frente al acortamiento de las faldas, que se rebajan por encima de las rodillas, mostrando unas esculturales piernas que siguen el paso de unos maravillosos salones en los flancos.
