MERRILL + FORBES draws inspiration from the mechanics of daily life, but also the interactions that are often momentary and fleeting. The collection is defined by juxtaposing design and attention to detail, with an emphasis on tailoring and an eclectic use of materials and custom developed fabrics. SS16 consists of a mix of garments that profess a deep connection to outdoor life, while maintaining wearability in the urban landscape. This season is minimalistic and uses modern technical fabrics in light knits, classic wardrobe staples and clothing garments which are traditionally associated with uniformity, but are updated with signature detailing.
