MADE Makes West Coast Debut with MADE Los Angeles at L.A. Live!
by Adriano Batista

MADE, organizer of New York’s MADE Fashion Week, will make its Los Angeles debut this June with MADE Los Angeles, supported by WME | IMG, a global leader in entertainment, sports and fashion and AEG, the world’s leading sports and live entertainment company. The two-day event will continue MADE’s tradition of supporting visionaries across a variety of creative disciplines and will take place at L.A. LIVE, the heart of vibrant downtown Los Angeles.
MADE LA will celebrate the unique connection between designers, musicians, entertainers and the city of Los Angeles. The festival-like programming will bring these worlds together at one of the city’s best venues, L.A. LIVE’s Event Deck, June 10-11, 2016.
“MADE has been a creative force in the fashion world for the past seven years,” said Barnett Zitron, Managing Director, MADE. “As we looked to expand the brand in new markets, Los Angeles—as a city undergoing a cultural renaissance at the intersection of art, design, food, fashion and entertainment—was a natural fit. Together with AEG and our partners, we are excited to create an experience that celebrates the city’s vital creative community.”
MADE LA will feature fashion shows and presentations, live musical performances, parties and a fashion bazaar, “The Stores,” which will feature designs and artwork on sale from 30+ world-class creative fashion designers and artists.
The preliminary MADE LA schedule, taking place at L.A. LIVE’s Event Deck (1005 W. Chick Hearn Ct., Los Angeles, CA), is as follows:
