Loro Piana Launches New Ski Collection with MR PORTER
by Adriano Batista
Loro Piana, the Italian luxury brand known for its exquisite fabrics and craftsmanship, has teamed up with MR PORTER to launch its latest ski collection. The collection, which will be available exclusively on MR PORTER features 27 pieces of skiwear, loungewear and accessories that combine technical performance and elegant design.
The skiwear range includes five shell jackets with matching trousers or salopettes in a neutral color palette with nuances of green and red. The jackets and trousers are made of Loro Piana’s Storm System® fabric, which is water-resistant, windproof and breathable. The collection also offers two pairs of ski gloves, black ski goggles and a pair of wooden skis and poles, all donned with Loro Piana logo, to complete the ski outfit.
For the après-ski moments, the collection presents a selection of cosy and comfortable layering pieces, loungewear and accessories in soft hues. Bomber jackets, sweatpants, rollnecks and pullovers are crafted from Loro Piana’s signature Cashmere, CashFur and jersey fabrics, providing warmth and softness. A knitted beanie hat and snood in a Fair Isle print add a touch of winter charm to the look.
“We are excited to be the exclusive online retail partner for Loro Piana’s latest ski collection. This collection represents the largest technical ski offer we have collaborated on to date and is one we are certain will resonate with our global audience. Characterised by the brand’s signature understated luxury, these styles are perfect for our customers to wear on and off the slopes.” – Mr Daniel Todd, Buying Director, MR PORTER
The Loro Piana ski collection will be available on MR PORTER from 1 December, with selected styles also available in Loro Piana’s flagship stores and online at loropiana.com.
