LOEWE Spring/Summer 2019 Campaign
by Fucking Young!

LOEWE has presented its Spring/Summer 2019 ad campaign ahead of time, during Paris Fashion Week Men’s. From today three images of the campaign will be displayed in hundreds of newspaper kiosks and walls around the city.
Model Oscar Kindelan stars in the first image – recognizable in spite of the styling, the hairstyle and the pose – interpreting a young version of the photographer Steven Meisel, author of the image. The subversive portrait flirts with the notions of projection and impersonation, while questioning what it really means to represent oneself.
Josh O. Connor stars in the second image, also photographed by Meisel. The famous actor poses with a colorful look of the new LOEWE men’s collection, and wears one of the new line of sunglasses from LOEWE Spring/Summer 2019. The summery and artificial scenario dialogues with the beach images of previous campaigns, and at the same time alludes to the previous work of the photographer himself.
The third image (the work of photographers Adrien Toubiana and Thomas Cristiani) announces the next release of a smaller version of the Gate bag. The coveted handbag of the house shows its characteristic knotted belt on the front flap.
