Loewe Pre-SS25 Campaign
by Adriano Batista
Loewe‘s latest SS25 pre-collection campaign is a playful mix of unexpected pairings and quirky poses. Photographed by Juergen Teller in a classic studio setting with a stark white backdrop, the images feature a diverse cast of characters, from established creatives to sea captains and medieval knights.
These unexpected pairings create a sense of delightful friction, challenging the traditional notion of fashion portraits. Poses are lighthearted and whimsical, with a touch of playful showmanship. From bodybuilders flexing next to Ambika Mod sporting the Puzzle bag to Ayo Edebiri striking a pose with rugby players behind her while clutching the Squeeze bag, the campaign revels in the surprising and unexpected.
Teller’s signature lens infuses the campaign with a touch of dry humor. His straightforward approach and curious taste for the unconventional playfully twist the established conventions of studio photography.
