Lisbon’s Fashion Future: SANGUE NOVO at ModaLisboa “SINGULAR”
by Adriano Batista
The 63rd Lisbon Fashion Week was a showcase of emerging talent, with the SANGUE NOVO competition opening the runway. Ten young designers presented their innovative and sustainable collections. They were: Dri Martins (Finalist), Duarte Jorge (Finalist), Francisca Nabinho (Finalist), Gabriel Silva Barros (Finalist), Ihanny Luquessa (Finalist), Gonçalo Oliveira, Lolo, Toque Amargo, ¡Arthayett! and Void. From digital couture to eco-friendly materials, they showcased a diverse range of styles and techniques.
The five finalists of the competition were announced at the end of the show. They’ll be competing for prestigious awards in March 2025, and we can’t wait to see what they’ll come up with next.
