Levi’s Made & Crafted Bets On Abstract Style In Its New Fall Collection
by Adriano Batista

Levi’s Made & Crafted is characterized by a simple and classic design that plays with shape, proportion and silhouette. For Fall/Winter 2022, this mixture of timeless and contemporary proposals is embodied in an abstract-inspired collection, with a variety of tops, jeans, knitwear and outerwear. With a dark color palette and abstract graphics, this season Levi’s Made & Crafted plays with traditional elements in ways that are contemporary. Graphic motifs inspired by avant-garde artists of the early 20th century are presented, combined with dark tones. Classic silhouettes are altered in exaggerated proportions to create modern shapes.
“With Levi’s Made & Crafted, we take the Levi’s DNA but translate it in a way that isn’t as literal as other Levi’s collections. It’s designed for everyone and can be layered for a truly modern take on the silhouette. The focus is still on classic design, but we play with those traditional elements to keep things fresh and interesting” -Paul O’Neill, Head Designer for Levi’s Made & Crafted and Levi’s Vintage Clothing at Levi’s Strauss & Co.
