Lacoste L!ve presents its capsule collection created with the artist JonOne. John Andrew Perello, aka JonOne first began painting at the age of 17, on the New York subway trains. He soon made a name for his abstract style, and created works influenced by movement, color, and energy of the city. His style set him apart from others as, at that time, the majority of other graffiti writers were working in more figurative styles. in 1987, JonOne moved to paris following the invitation from a good friend, Bando, and soon found out that it would become his ‘new home’. JonOne’s work explodes with energy and color; the artist himself sees his art as “abstract expressionist graffiti“.
For the Fall/Winter 2015-16 season, JonOne worked with Lacoste L!ve on an exclusive collection, giving the iconic crocodile an authentic urban makeover.
