Ronnie Fieg, the mind behind Kith, joins forces with ASICS once again for a winter collection that breathes new life into two iconic shoes.
The centerpiece? A reimagined GEL-KAYANO™ 12.1. This updated version blends the classic upper with a modern twist, sporting fresh materials and a color scheme inspired by Kith’s signature palette. The lightweight mesh upper keeps things breathable, while the redesigned ASICS stripes utilize TPU for a touch of innovation.
But the details are what truly set this shoe apart. The tongues feature a special message: “Kayano” in Japanese Kanji on one side, a tribute to the legendary designer, and “Friend” on the other, reflecting Kith’s commitment to community.
For the first time ever, Fieg also turns his attention to the GEL-NIMBUS™ 10.1. Originally inspired by the GEL-KAYANO™ 14, this shoe gets a Kith makeover with exclusive colors and branding on the heel and sockliner. Comfort remains key, with the shoe retaining its advanced cushioning system for a smooth ride.
