Known as a “Surrealist Punk Artist”, Smith is an expert in “hand-carved” collage, his technique has inspired a generation of artists His artwork depicts anti-establishment attitudes and contradictions in modern society. For the KIDILL SS21, collection designer Hiroaki Sueyasu has carefully selected designs from Smith’s archives for their SS21 collaboration collection.
