KEEN + Études Studio
by Adriano Batista
KEEN has teamed up with Études Studio to reimagine its iconic Newport sandal for Spring/Summer 2025. This collaboration brings together KEEN’s practical approach and Études Studio’s minimalist style, resulting in a fresh take on the classic sandal.
To highlight the partnership, KEEN and Études Studio worked with videographer Grégoire Dyer and movement director Pauline Lavogez to create a series of visuals exploring movement. The setting is a clean, minimalist space inspired by the idea of a white cube and simple home interiors. The visuals focus on the body’s movements, balancing control and release. The choreography shifts between slow, hypnotic motions and sudden, sharp gestures. The body twists, falls, and rises, creating precise, sculptural forms. The camera captures small details, like a tense muscle or a held breath, revealing the subtle relationship between the body and the space around it.
The Newport sandal, known for its versatile design, blends style and functionality, making it suitable for both city life and outdoor adventures. For this collaboration, Études Studio added its signature É monogram to the sandal, reflecting its minimalist and graphic aesthetic. The sandal comes in two colors: black and olive green, with touches of Études Studio’s iconic blue and a woven label featuring the brand’s logo.

The collaboration is now available on KEEN’s and Études Studio’s websites, in their physical stores, and at select retailers.
