Isabel Marant Fall/Winter 2024
by Gabriel Córdoba Acosta
The army of Isabel Marant models has already passed, as usual, through the French capital wearing the garments and accessories from the brand’s Fall/Winter 2024 collection. Once again, Paris Fashion Week and its third day of shows have welcomed the designer’s show, already categorised as an unmissable event.
More than 50 looks were on offer, a dozen of them for men. The design line that they followed is the one that Mrs. Marant has accustomed us to. All kinds of situations were covered, since there were more casual looks, inspired by the 70s and the safari world, with tones typical of the corresponding environments; and others designed for the night, where black and leather were the clear protagonists. In those fun and crazy nights, from time to time, silver appears, matching the fabric and automatically elevating the look.
Leather is a fabric that the French people love, just go to any fashion event there and see for yourself. Isabel is aware of this, that’s why she gives it the space it deserves and introduces it in different colours, like red. As for when to wear it, there are no rules. Do it when it suits you and combine it with suede or even animal print. Do you dare? If so, finish off the look with a pair of boots, like the ones proposed by the French woman.
