After gaining experience working with designers like Walter van Beirendonck and Henrik Vibskov, Stijn Koks has launched his own fashion label. His debut collection, “Knights of Nostalgia,” is a playful and unconventional exploration of adulthood.
Koks challenges the seriousness often associated with grown-up life by incorporating elements of kitsch and irony. The collection features models styled as life-sized action figures, inviting viewers to rethink their identities in a lighthearted way.
“Knights of Nostalgia” blends childhood memories with contemporary design. By using repurposed materials and everyday objects, Koks evokes the sense of wonder often associated with childhood while creating stylish and innovative garments. The collection explores the contrast between the responsibilities of adulthood and the enduring power of imagination.
