Introducing: Paulo Succar
by Eduardo G.

Guadalajara based fashion designer Paulo Succar has studied at Pratt Institute in New York, Barcelona´s IED and currently at ITESO. Barely 22 years old when he starts to run his own brand. His current collection (Spring/Summer 2013) entitled “Obscure Biology” is inspired in gothic symbolism such as crosses and skulls, esoteric symbols like triangles, and educational concepts such as the solar system, flora and fauna.
Paulo Succar is best known for his outlandishly bold graphics and great development of prints, with two years of existence, the brand has already won presence in the Mexican industry. Paulo Succar introduces clothes with a major influence on menswear classic tailoring, re-inventing it with self developed prints, such as the color palette and expressionistic lines of the artist David Alfaro Siqueiros which worked as inspiration for his upcoming Fall/ Winter 2013.
