Introducing Intodusk
by Adriano Batista
Intodusk is a New York brand founded by Dustin Hellinger and Veska Naratama. It is built on contrast. It balances instinct with precision, personal mythology with technical construction. The brand merges two different creative processes: Veska’s formal design background and Dustin’s intuitive method, which involves reassembling fragments to find new meaning.
For Spring/Summer 2026, the collection is titled Devotion. It studies the contradiction between what we show and what we conceal. Each piece is designed for versatility, to move easily between dressed-up and dressed-down moments.
Within this idea, silhouettes play with tension. A velvet blazer is pulled in at the back with an elastic band, turning ceremony into ease. A loose jean has a concealed zip that reveals a track-style lining underneath. A cable-knit sweater is made from intersecting lines of recycled fabric, suggesting fragments being made whole again.
The color palette leans toward light, using soft yet grounded tones. Brighter colors appear in breathable linen and washed cotton. This reflects Veska’s eye for an effortless cool, drawn from New York subcultures. Sharp shapes in relaxed fabrics create a sense of strength that feels natural.
In gradient denim, a dialogue between dark and light becomes a meditation on transition. The collection questions how we build a modern identity through gesture, repetition, and risk.
The theme of Devotion draws from a personal mythology of luck, specifically the memory of Dustin’s grandmother and her rituals in casino halls. Gambling becomes a metaphor for hope, a belief in possibility even when the outcome is uncertain. The new Intodusk monogram, an interlocking emblem on a halo, reflects this faith in chance, framing devotion as a quiet act of rebellion.
